DEVOPS ENGINEER

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a skilled operations engineer to help us build enterprise level web, mobile, dApp, and game projects. The DevOps position at MB is a versatile role responsible for setting up servers and build pipelines during project development, managing access and permissions on cloud services, and advocating for scalability, reliability, and security during project architecture conversations. Our ideal candidate is passionate about emerging technologies and relentlessly pursues improvement in themselves, their work, and their team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Work collaboratively with development engineering to create and deploy a CI/CD infrastructure
  • Develop and implement secure, reliable, scalable and automated environments
  • Improve monitoring and alerts of the infrastructure
  • Define and document standards and guidelines
  • Research and implement new technologies for improving existing systems

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ambition, eagerness to learn, and ability to work within a team environment
  • 5+ years of professional experience working in devops or related
  • 3+ years of experience working with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, etc), Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, etc), Docker and Kubernetes template tool (Helm, Kustomize, etc)
  • 3+ years of experience working with CI-CD tools such as Jenkins, Github Actions, etc.
  • Education in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent field
  • Working knowledge of security industry best practices for modern enterprise web applications.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and common workflows (Gitflow, Trunk Base Development, etc)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

BONUS ATTRIBUTES

  • Experience working with full CI-CD workflows, automated rollbacks, feature toggle and post-deployment tests
  • Experience working with one the following monitoring tools: Datadog, New Relic or Prometheus
  • Fluent with a mature programming language such as Python, Go, Java, etc
  • Knowledge of high volume analytics/data warehouse storage
  • Hands-on experience implementing compliance for advanced security standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, or PCI.

    TECHNICAL PRODUCT MANAGER

    We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to join our team. We need a strong technical Product Manager capable of pairing clean product definitions with critical technical details. In this role, you will build a web3 product for gamers and game developers that meet their challenging and changing needs. You have experience developing an API product, like to solve abstract problems, are data-oriented, creative, and mindful of the real use cases of this demanding audience. 

    You value the critical need for user security and privacy as well as the very real challenge of delivering a viable product efficiently. You will work alongside product leads, UX/UI designers, business and engineering leadership to enable the next generation of crypto-gamers to safely store and interact with the assets of tomorrow. 

    Responsibilities

    • Own the product we are building 
    • Design features from zero to one, as well as maintain live product designs and iterations in live production environments 
    • Work together with the Product Lead at Forte, UX and Engineering teams at Mighty Block to understand problems, define them clearly and create solutions
    • Create documentation that clearly illustrates product needs to technical stakeholders 
    • Be the hub of design communication to and from development teams about product specification, execution, and goals
    • Conduct market research, document findings, and propose solutions for product implementation based on business objectives and collected learnings 
    • Conduct internal training on how features work, why they are important, and how they are expected to evolve 
    • Consume various sources of data and analytics to align product designs to strategic objectives to improve business KPIs 
    • Analyze apps metrics, user data, market data, to iterate the products focusing on delivery value for all our customers

    Requirements:

    • +10 years of product management or design experience
    • Held a design role where your customer is a developer or technical implementation team
    • Experience designing & launching a product with a strong backend focus (i.e., APIs)
    • Experience working in FinTech, Crypto, or highly regulated industries or security software on consumer products
    • C2 English level. Proficient written and verbal communication skills and an adaptive attitude towards communication mediums
    • A strong desire to live at the edge of your comfort zone when designing
    • A proven track record of collaborative design in demanding product environments
    • Apply critical thinking, to sift through useful and arbitrary information, so that you can develop a big-picture perspective that leads to impactful decisions or solutions.

    • Held a design role in on one or more launched game titles, especially games that have regular content releases

    We are looking for a Senior Engineer with mobile and web experience and a passion for working with blockchain technologies to join our growing studio. This position is best-suited for someone with experience in Ethereum-based token development (ERC20), dAPP architecture, and / or blockchain exchange systems.  Ideally, we’re seeking someone with ambition to lead projects and pioneer adoption of new technologies.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO

    • You will architect and author Ethereum smart contracts in Solidity and collaborate with security auditors reviewing these contracts.
    • Participate in building product features and making decisions with software architects to shape the way our technology is built.
    • Communicate with external teams and customers to help implement features and coordinate product changes.
    • Give advice and guidance to various teams based on the topic of blockchain technologies and drive architectural conversations.
    • Be accountable for development deliverables and guiding team tasking.
    • Work with engineering leads to define scope, deliverables, and identify project risks and mitigations.
    • Act as a technical authority and advocate for blockchain technologies. Educate managers, peers, and key stakeholders on possibilities and limitations in the space.

    REQUIREMENTS

      WHAT YOU’LL DO

      • Develop high quality features and scalable technologies in collaboration with design, product and development teams.
      • Build intuitive user interfaces on cutting-edge technologies, learning how to solve complex design and technical challenges.
      • Work with technical leaders to architect and implement scalable web portals and applications from the ground up, through all aspects of the project lifecycle.
      • Work with QA to identify issues and contribute to code testing suites in order to maintain long term code quality and avoid defect regressions.
      • Work in small teams with technical leaders to provide feedback and code reviews for other engineers.

      REQUIREMENTS

      • 3+ years in a JavaScript development role using: asynchronous programming, event driven programming, DOM manipulation, api integration, data binding, unit testing, MV* patterns, modularization, ES6, etc.
      • 2+ years of experience working on live web development in a client developer role.
      • Demonstrated competence using at least 2 of the following frameworks/technologies: Angular, React, React Native, Flux/Redux, Vue, JQuery, Backbone, Elm, Ember, or other client-side framework.
      • Some experience working with one or more of the following technologies for web development: Python, Ruby, PHP, Node, or Java.
      • Live development experience using Angular, React, and Redux.
      • Experience using industry standard version control tools and workflows (git, svn, perforce).
      • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to communicate solutions to the team.

        SOFTWARE AUTOMATION ENGINEER

        We are looking for a Software Automation Engineer, you will prioritize test cases to automate, scripting test cases using existing frameworks and tools, and recommending new processes, features, and tools to improve efficiency. You will work with developers and designers to ensure excellent quality for our users.

        • Design, develop, implement, and support frameworks for our test infrastructure and provide automation expertise to our development teams.
        • Enhance, extend, and maintain test automation libraries and test suites.
        • Promote test automation best practices, tools, standards, and processes.
        • Collaborate with project managers, the QA team, and developers on project- and application-level test automation.
        • Help identify scenarios for inclusion in test automation.
        • Coordinate and manage automated testing efforts for concurrent projects.

        REQUIREMENTS

        • Experience in test automation development in an SDET (software development engineer in test) role or equivalent in software engineering.
        • Solid understanding of APIs
        • Openness, positivity, a drive to learn new skills, and an ability to work effectively as part of a fast-moving, deadline-driven team.
        • Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically of automated QA processes in development environments.
        • Familiarity with using command line functions
